First impressions
It feels more expensive than it is. Unfolding it the first time takes a firm hand, and setting your angle means finding the friction point on two joints, which is a fiddlier ritual than dropping a phone into a ring.
Build and materials
Aluminium arms on a weighted foot with rubber pads at the contact points. Build quality at the price is fine — the finish is even, the pads are properly bonded, and nothing rattles out of the box.
Living with it
Desk work is where it belongs. It is stable enough for typing on the screen if you keep the phone in landscape, and it disappears into a laptop sleeve. Take it near water or flour and you will regret the exposed joints.
What owners report
On my tap test it stayed put in landscape and shifted slightly in portrait with a heavy phone. After six weeks in a bag the lower joint developed noticeable play — still usable, but the crisp detent was gone.
Care and cleaning
Keep the joints clean and do not over-tighten. Once a folding joint loosens there is no service part for it.
